Who Are You?

My hubby preached this past weekend at our church. (If you want to watch it, click here and then choose message 5. You won’t be disappointed.) He finished out our Hostage series and did a mighty fine job IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF. He talked about the lies we believe and how to overcome that mindset with the truth of God’s Word. On that note, do you know who you are? Do you know who Christ says you are? I’d love to hear the truth you know about yourselves according to the Bible, the inspired Word of God. I’ll go first… I am more than a conquerer through Christ who loves me (Romans 8:37).

  1. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Ps 139:14

  2. Chris did awesome. I told him we would like to get together with you gusy sometime….when you have time.

  3. I thought the sermon was INCREDIBLE!! SO relevant to so many (myself included!!) You Bealls really are somethin’ else! 🙂 Love you!

  4. Cindy, I’ve got to admit that I believe everything in God’s word to be true … in my head. Some of it has failed to make that 12″ drop into my heart. What I do look forward to is the transformation process that His Spirit has undertaken in my life. My faith helps me to hang on to what is true – as I hang on to this Hope I know that I will eventually feel what I believe to be true.

  5. First of all, you don’t know me~ I found your site through Shanna’s blog. I started reading some of your posts yesterday and I was floored. SOOO many of them spoke to me in powerful ways. And, this is crazy (at least my husband thought so 🙂 ), but I spent most of my Sunday reading your entire blog, yes, all of your posts. I laughed, I cried, I was challenged, I was humbled, I prayed. Thank you! I will continue reading.

To answer your question…”Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.” Col 1:22 Without a single fault!!?? WOW!
Paul goes on to say that we must believe this truth and stand firmly in it, to not drift away. I find myself doing that (drifting away) so often, though. Why is it so hard to stand firm in The Truth?

  6. I am free
    I am holy
    I am loved
    I am called
    I have purpose
I am strong when I’m weak
I have supernatural wisdom, knowledge, and insight
    I am an heir
    I am a daughter
    I am a servant
I will stop now…but you know I could keep goin’!

  7. I love who I am in Christ. That question use to puzzle me but I think I have a handle on it now. 🙂

  8. WoW! Great question, I’m still tring to figure that out. I know that I’m a great Mother, Wife, Friend,Sister, Daughter and Christ follower. Do I know who Christ says I am? I’m still learning.
Tell Chis thank you! It was great to see him speak and hear his message. I spoke to him afterwords and shared my story he said a lot of great things that I really heard and took to heart. His message really spoke to my husband and gave my husband some peace. I know my husband would love to talk to him again. THANK you from the bottom of my heart!

  9. It is amazing to me that so many Christians have “A leopard always keeps their spots” attitude when the bible took Every Leopard and changed their spots by HIS stripes (including the their own life) Hello… Holy Rollers…anybody HOME?!

Chris did the great job of COMMUNICATING Gods heart to his people. He was willing therefore he is a vessel to change broken lives!

Who am I? I am NOTHING but God is everything and because I have him, I am everything he has made me to be.

  10. I am a beauty in His eyes.

By the way, my hubby even said that your hubby did a better job than Craig . . .oh, did I just say that? 🙂

  11. Cindy I have never met you but I have met your husband. He did an awsome job this past week! He shared one of the bigest secrets of the Christian life, “You have been delivered”!

I believe that I am a friend of Christ, John 15:15. To me this means no fear of condemnation but but I am now accepted.

I love to know we have things in common. 🙂
