Stay Tuned…

radio.jpeg

The other day a friend of mine encouraged me to tell about Chris’ and my story on my blog. After giving it some thought, I decided to take her advice. So, my blog entries next Monday through Friday will consist of my sharing about the darkest valley that my husband and I have ever walked through. The entries will be brief but chock full of substance. If, after reading our story, you don’t know what to say, don’t feel any pressure to comment. Sometimes, you just can’t find the words. If you aren’t the type to find yourself in situations that leave you speechless, Monday just might be a first for you. However, should you want to comment, please do so. More than likely I won’t comment back, but you can rest assured that I’ll be reading each and every word that your sweet fingertips type. Lastly, I’d like to ask you to do someone a favor. Someone out there needs to read our story. Someone is in desperate need to know they are not alone. Someone needs to know that miracles still happen. If you know that someone, please send them to my blog. I have hope for them. His name is Jesus.

  1. I just love your willingness to re-visit the dark place so possibly some one else can avoid it and learn from you. I’m sure that each time you talk about it, you have more healing. You have an amazing ministry, Cindy. God is using you in a mighty way!!

  2. I’m with Aaron…I’ve been waiting.

By the way, the Word says that we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony…

I heard it said like this once… Victory is making it through, but revenge on the enemy is helping someone else to make it through. (I think I just found my blog for today).

  3. Hi Cindy! I know your story but can’t wait to feel your words. I agree that someone, somewhere will need to see your story. I pray that this person finds your blog. Thank you for having the courage to share. Miracles do happen!

  4. Cindy, you are so awesome! I know your story, have walked in your shoes, and have had you there as a friend in my time of need. I so believe God IS using you in a mighty way…and I say THANK YOU! I pray your blog will touch so many hearts!

  5. Cindy, Thank you for all you have taught me the past 3 1/2 years. I remember sitting in your living room the day you and Chris hired us and we said we cant wait to serve with people like that! I love you.

  6. I will be praying a covering over you as you type so that the Power of His restoration will outweigh any attempts the enemy may try to stop the healing that so many will receive and hope for marriages to be renewed, and many marriages can begin with the same promise and commitment that Barrett and I did knowing you and Chris’s story to press through anything in Christ!!! I love you so much!

  7. I have such respect for those that are willing to share the most vulnerable parts of their journey with Him….the not-so-pretty parts that He turns to beauty! I already have a few friends in mind that I will send to your blog. I know will be encouraged to hear it. May retelling it take you even deeper with Him!

  8. well Cindy, I guess I’m copying you, but I feel like I must take this opportunity to share my own story, you have a much broader audience, but maybe someday someone will stumble upon our blogs ad it will be exactly what they needed to hear, or know. We have such different stories, yet a common thread–Jesus & His resurrection power… in & through our lives.
