And yes, I believe it was time for Scott MacIntyre to leave the show. He can sing fine but he just doesn’t have the star quality, in my humble, yet accurate opinion. So, we’re down to the top seven finalists. I wasn’t a fan at first, but I have been quite impressed with little miss 16-year old. That Allison can sho nuff sang. When she was beltin’ out I Can’t Make You Love Me, honey child, there were goose bumps all up and down my white legs. The hubby and I even looked at each other and raised our eyebrows. And if we raise our eyebrows at each other, well, that’s somethin’. Sweet Lil Rounds is breakin’ my heart. When I first heard her in the audition, I just knew that she’d make it far. And she has, but the darlin’ better get her thang goin’ on or she will not follow in the footsteps of Fantasia. I’m just sayin’. Make no mistake about it, Kris Allen and Matt Giraud can both blow, if I might use a Randy Jacksonism. But, their consistency is lacking. However, they can sang. Y’all get that? And Anoop (dere it is) is equally unpredictable. I must say that I do like him and think he can sing pretty good, but honestly, his voice just doesn’t seem to match his look. But that’s a’ight, because his school just won the NCAA championship in men’s basketball. Holla. Now, I’m not a bettin’ woman, but if I were, here’s what I think the finale will look like: Danny Gokey & Adam Lambert I don’t even think you can compare the two. They are both absolutely amazing and yet so different at the same time. I will say that from day one my favorite has been Danny. Friends, if you don’t like this guy, then we needs to have ourselves a talk. Seriously, I text votes for the guy like 10 or 567 times each week. Oh yes ma’am I do. But, I also vote for Adam so I guess I’m just canceling myself out. Right. And that, my internet peeps, has been your wrap-up of American Idol…Texan style 🙂 Gone.
