A Mission Or A Mansion?

We visited the City Rescue Mission of Oklahoma City on our recent tour of the city.  The president, Tom Jones, stepped onto our chartered bus to welcome us and to tell us a story. A story we wouldn’t forget.
A little girl living at the City Rescue Mission was at school one day.  The kids were going around telling where they lived.  The teacher, knowing the little girl’s situation, was nervous for her.  As it came her turn, the little girl piped up and said, “I live at the City Rescue Mansion.  I have my own room with my mom.  Everyday, people come in and make my bed for me.  And all of my meals are cooked just for me.”
I guess it really is all about how we look at life. Half empty or half full? Something to think about.
