10K Training Update – Week 8

Redbud Two days left. My training has almost come to a screeching halt. This past Sunday I ran 1 mile, walked 1 mile and ran another mile. And my knee felt it a little. I decided to just rest this week. I’ve trained so much over the past few months that I feel that I can handle the race if my knee stays strong. Quite frankly, I still don’t know how it will hold up. I am hoping that I can run the entire 6.2 miles even if I’m at a snail’s pace. But, I am sort of expecting to have to walk at the end. I know, not to full of faith, is it? The realist in me has taken over. Have a great weekend and I’ll give you an update on Monday!
