10K Training Update – Week 5

Redbud I have had to really be flexible with my running schedule this week. Chris and I are enjoying a week in northern California so I have had to get creative. Things are still on track so that’s good. We are doing a lot of walking San Francisco so it’s good for my cardios! Have you ever had to change your training schedule due to travels or illnesses?

  1. I am training for a 1/2 marathon and hurt my ankle. I had to take about 10 days off and got back into the swing of things. About that time, I got very sick and was in bed and not exercising for a week. I just started back up running some short distances. I have about 2 months until I run with some major things in there (vacation, deployment, visitors). I just have to trust and know that I have done all I can! Good for you! Keep it up! 🙂
