A few weeks ago, my husband and I went to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to record an interview for Family Talk Radio with Dr. James Dobson. His son, Ryan, hosted the show and it airs tomorrow – February 15, 2013! You can listen to it on the radio by finding a station here. You can listen to it on XM radio at 7pm CST on channel 166. Or you can listen to it at a later date on Dr. Dobson’s website by going here. I pray you are blessed by our story once again!

We had a whirlwind trip to Colorado Springs last week. Ahh, the fresh air and the crisp chill made me want to stay longer! We also got to visit with some dear friends that we’ve known for 18 years! The Condits, Giles’ and us, along with a few other couples, used to be in a small group together. In this group, we went on trips together and we would spend hours worshipping together with Chris and me leading. And my friend, Stephanie, had a guitar handy so we did it again. Chris and I don’t lead worship anymore from a stage but it is sort of like riding a bike, you know? We used to have to make copies of the lyrics but now, we just used our phones to pull up the lyrics! We loved spending time with our friend, Ryan Dobson. He interviewed us to be on his dad’s show, Family Talk with Dr. James Dobson. Ryan is a tremendous interviewer and so very easy to talk to. His dad would be proud! The interview will air at a later day. I will keep you posted on that!
This week my husband and I have the privilege and honor to travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to be interviewed for Dr. Dobson’s Family Talk Radio Show. Dr. Dobson is away right now so in his absence his son, Ryan, is conducting the interview. We are so excited because we have been interviewed by Ryan before and it was so much fun! Such a great connection with him! I will keep you posted on the air date!
I recently did an interview with Phil Waldrep. He has a nationwide radio show that airs in 49 states. (Darn you, Delaware.) The interview aired from September 28-30. If you would like to hear the 3-part interview, just click on the following links to listen. September 28, 2011 (Part 1) September 29, 2011 (Part 2) September 30, 2011 (Part 3) Enjoy!
I first heard Jimmy Evans speak back in 2008. Chris and I were at a conference at Gateway Church and he was one of the speakers. Loved him. LOVED HIM. Pastor Jimmy is the senior pastor/elder of Trinity Fellowship in Amarillo, Texas, and has been there since he was 29 years old. Not only that, but he has been married to his wife, Karen, for 39 years. They openly share that they haven’t had a perfect marriage. (Who has?) But, instead of allowing their struggles to victimize them, they have instead shared their journey in many resources and on their TV show called Marriage Today. Today, Chris and I have the opportunity to sit down with Jimmy and Karen and share our story. We are so very thrilled that they asked us to be on their show! We aren’t sure when it will air so stay tuned to my “Media/Events” page for updates. Have a great day!
