Definitely the beach.

There is something incredibly mesmerizing about the ocean.  I never tire of looking out on the horizon and the same exact scene.  I could listen to the waves crash on the shore for hours on end.

What’s your favorite place?

Oh. This is a hard one. I have a handful of them. I love the ocean also. I love my parent’s lake cabin, ans spending a warm summer afternoon tooling around on the pontoon. My Grandparents house in Northern MN also….. Do I really have to choose one? Oh yea, the scrapbook store. 🙂

i love the beach as well…..especially in the cooler months. there’s nothing like walking along the beach with the cool breezes blowing through your hair and looking out onto the ocean and the waves. and collecting seashells makes me feel like a kid again. 🙂

Lake LBJ in Marble Falls. My mother’s family has held reunions there since the 60’s. When I go there it’s all about relaxation, being with family and being on the water in the summer in Texas. When I think about where I want to be when I retire, it’s on a place like LBJ. Cool breezes coming off the water even if it’s been 100 degrees that day. Waking up early in the morning, no matter how late you stayed up the night before, just so you that you can ski on water that looks like glass…..ahhh, I’m instantly more relaxed just thinking about it.

I love the beach too, and in the cooler months. My husband and I got married on the beach in February it was so romantic. There were very few people around so it was like we had a private beach. We have also been on a vacation to Virginia Beach in November when no one is there. Cheaper rates and beaches all to ourselves. So beautful and romantic!

Oh agree. Any beach, but preferrably the Caribbean. It really doesn’t get any better than that. Except for a comfy chair with some fruit in my drink.

Beach not doubt…we are going in June and I can’t hardly Wait!!!

Though I will have to say we went to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons this summer and it is definitely a close 2nd. If it was just warmer I would vote it first! 🙂

The Outer Banks of Corolla, North Carolina. Oh the wonder! If I had an extra $5M, I’d buy me a house there and I promise I’d share. 😉

My living room with my daughtter and I playing with her ponies or puppies me stealing them and hiding them or just taking them. My wife sitting on the couch laughing at us. Yes there are probably more peacefull and relaxing places in my life but you asked for favorite.

In the forest on a mountain side overlooking the ocean. I love the feeling of being enveloped in God’s creation of nature. I can feel His presence in the rustling of the trees and the wave of the ocean tides. I love that warm fuzzy feeling inside!

DITTO! my house…3 blocks from the beach 🙂 At night we can open our bedroom patio door and hear the waves crash when all is calm. It’s so wonderful. God did good when he made the ocean and beaches.

My favorite place is the spa, ahhhhhhhhh. I could go there everyday, the ambiance is soothing, relaxing and refreshing.

My favorite place is wherever my wife is. Seriously. I hate the mall, but when I go with my wife, she somehow makes it the only place I want to be. She has this uncanny way to make any situation into a “fun” one, from cleaning the house – to being stuck in the car (in the snow) for five hours – to dealing with uncompromising family members – to (of course) being on the beach. Corny? Probably, but definitely the truth.

Africa…in fact, the beach in Sierra Leone is the most beautiful paradise I have ever seen in all of my days. Just like God to hide it away next to the poorest nation in the world. 🙂
