Fave Food – Cereal

Because it’s like eatin’ and drinkin’ at the same time.

My husband doesn’t travel often and is usually home for dinner each night.  However, there are some nights when something comes up and he can’t be home when it’s time to eat.  When those nights occur, there is only one thing I want for dinner.

It can be Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Fruity Pebbles or Apple Cinnamon Cheerios.  You won’t find me turning up my nose to Frosted Flakes or Apple Jacks or Cap’n Crunch Berries.  Nosireebob.  Love them, LOVE THEM ALL.

The hubby is going on a week-long mission trip in the next couple of months and don’t you think I won’t be stocking up on my fave cereals.  Glo-ree.

Are you a fan of cereal?

  1. If there was no one else in the house, I would likely eat cereal three times a day (that or a loaf of warm homemade bread with butter…mmmm) Favs: Peanut Butter Capn’ Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Frankenberries (and BooBerries and Count Chocula), and oh the list goes on. Off to have me some Apple Jacks right now! 🙂

  2. Its funny, but my kids have never had cereal for breakfast. We have it in the house, but it seems to fall in the “snack” category. The Hubs eats it with milk, but the kids just eat it plain….

I eat shredded wheat with heaping spoonfuls of sugar and cold milk 🙂

  3. I LOVE cereal! And like you, I love having it for dinner! And like you, I’m not picky about what kind I like, either, although Post Raisins, Dates, and Walnuts is my absolute favorite!

  4. i absolutely love cereal…to the point where one time i bought 18 different boxes of cereal. 🙂

  5. hahahaha! i love your reason for loving cereal! awesome.

and dang i love me some cereal too. and i prefer it any time of day but breakfast… but my favorite is as a late-night snack.

can we eat some cerael while we’re couch-cuddling on our meet-up?

  6. At first I thought that this would rsersuae me that my Corgi, whom I call Hoover at mealtimes, was normal. Until I saw this little pup leisurely eating his dinner. Goodness, he chewed it, and he looked up between bites. Honestly, I think that Loki would have hoovered this in half the time. Needless to say, I am not rsersuaed that my Corgi doesn’t eat at an alarming rate. It really is a bit frightening.Rebecca and LMPP
